17th July 08 MAMA MAYHEM RETURN FROM SUCCESSFUL TOUR OF NEW YORK
Mama Mayhem have returned from their successful mini-tour of New York. After a successful live appearance on Fearless Music for Fox 5 TV, they are delighted to announce that they will now be managed by New York manager Noah Goldman - President of Fantasy Sports and Entertainment Inc.
The band would like to thank all the people who made them welcome, to the guys & girls at Fearless Music, to Arlene's Grocery, Tracy and her friend, a big thanks to Anthony for his whacky unforgettable hotel performance, and his friend Kev. And a special mention to Sue Feinberg, thank you for the gifts! And of course to Noah Goldman!

Mama Mayhem have recently finished recording their debut album, which features a mix of classic rock, blues and acoustic, blended with their own unique take on alternative rock. This commanding music is awash with stomping tracks, great mid – tempo beats and sublime technical drum patterns paving the way for rolling bass lines and impressive powerful guitar riffs, topped with a unique vocal style and range showcasing the bands abundant talent.

Mama Mayhem’s first live performance came in April 2007 followed by the release of their live demo debut EP “High Heels On Cobbled Streets (live)” in July 2007, all of which was recorded, mixed and mastered by the band. This EP opened the doors for them to embark on two mini tours of America, including headlining the world famous Whisky a Go-Go in Los Angeles and performing live on Fox 5 TV’s Fearless Music programme in New York. They have performed in countless venues in the UK including the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool.

The bands catchy name Mama Mayhem came about from the connotations of mayhem and the hard rocking style of the band. Mama, the word, represents the antithesis of this reflecting the bands musical diversity.
The band members each have their own different tastes and preferences within music, something seen as a bonus to the music Mama Mayhem produce as their different tastes act as a “mixing pot for our own music”. The concepts for each of Mama Mayhem’s songs are mostly conceived by John Drummond and Stephen Lahbib, which evolve into a collaboration of refining guitar riffs, developing vocal melodies and structuring compositions as a band.
