Sounds Like
We sound a little bit like G Love & Special Sauce, Jamiroquai, Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson...
This is where Mama Rogers should try to convince you that they are the mega rock and roll types that wear matching bedazzled t-shrits and are as good as the Beatles*. Hopefully, that would make them seem well worth your investment of time, money and devotion. Next they should say something terribly clever working in the phrase crack-a-lakin, yeah booy or tie in fun lyric from one of their songs to convince you that they're" with it" and destined to entertain you with their zany antics. This should make it near impossible to resist buying their t-shirts, line up to see their shows and listen to their CD a thousand times then get tired of it and listen to something else for awhile then find it in a sock drawer and re-listen to it another thousand times. Finally, after you're good and brainwashed, they should reel you in with a call to action like: "You can't possibly not like this band – their moms really like 'em" or "4 out of 5 recommend Mama Rogers" or "Mama Rogers, they would definitely sell out."
Anyway, if you think you'd like an original sound that can best be described as funk based rock / pop that includes the standard line up plus sax and synth, you may enjoy Mama Rogers.
*only 2 out of 1,000,000 say Mama Rogers are as good as the Beatles and they are related to members of Mama Rogers.
