"MINGUSS" is a band led by Mami Konishi.
She creates music with various musicians that she wants to play with.
Mami Konishi was born in Tokyo 1982,and began to learn classical music when she was 4.
She continued to learn it at music high school and university. And then
music other than classic , especially Jazz attracted her. Since then She began to study Jazz
enthusiastically.
And this love of Jazz triggered her quest for what music is.
Then she organized "MINGUSS"in September 2005.
Shortly afterwards MINGUSS started recording, and released 1st CD"PREMINGUSS" in December 2006 by indies music label.
The important thing is that she was impressed by Miles Davis's music at this time,and consequently her sense
of music was completely changed.
March 2008, MINGUSS released 2nd CD "super sonic sound" by same label.

Hello MINGUSS, Thank you for your comment ! yes, Kyoto is the greatest ancient city in Japan. The atmosphere of gardens, temples, shrines and narrow sidewalks are unique. Even if there are many people's voices, we can feel a kind of silence.
