We challenge ourselves and you to get involved at those shows, using instruments, voices and bodies to express ourselves. We always invite the audience to sing along or make up their own words, and we often invite other musicians to perform with us live and on record. A major theme of the lyrical content is challenging people to engage in becoming an active part of the (r)evolution that will one day put an end to the disease of capitalism, and it's symptoms of racism, sexism and homophobia. I had the pleasure to tell Zeke what i thought of their performance at Sounds of Spring, i told him-
'I'm your number 1 fan and you need to stop mouthing off at your gigs, your losing fans.............'
so now you break up.............it doesn't surprise me, you didn't want to listen to your number 1 fan............
I will really miss you guys. Good luck to you Zeke, hope you stop mouthing off! Pete, Zane and Nick you deserve to stick together and keep Mammal going, just find a new singer (take Zeke back if he wants to listen to what his fans want............)

I was blessed to play that youth gig with you in Kerang, Ive been following ever since. Zeke, you've been a massive influence on my stage presence and voice ever since. You taught me not to give a shit, about anything, but what I thought was right.
For fucks sake guys, keep it together. You have too many ppl that rely on your music as an out let in various forms to split up. You are an awesome band and will be very sadly missed...

Mammal were the greatest ever band to me, i can name every song and sing every line and i've seen 'em 15 times, you guys had to the potential to be the best inde band ever, it still trips me out that you guys are no more
You guys had more potential than any band on the australian music scene. I can't see the ox and the fury going places that mammal were. Mammal had a new sound that the music industry needed, and the ox and the fury are too streamline. This is speaking from a long die hard fan. I can only hope that Zane, Pete and Nick can continue that music genre that mammal owned!!! Unless Zeke can pull out something special with smash nova!
I thought this band would fare better than Full Scale. Will be remembered for failing on the verge of something very special. I loved this band for it's rare energy and sound, I heard them on the early Cog and Avenged Sevenfold tours went to 15 gigs and it's a shame. Easy to see what happened though. Political problems.. Zane, Pete and Nick still keen to play together hmmm.. Seems the "message" was one mans message, not the whole bands... Oh and on Zekes Polices violence groups, get real man what about Cops getting bashed. Grow up they are not the enemy!
Oh no!! You guys quickly became my favourite band of the moment, especially live.. and just as quick it seems your gone!!! Im very sad, but thanks for the great music and amazing live shows guys. I will miss the shows, i will have to re-live them through your live album.
Fuck lads!Very sad to see Mammal come to an end. I dunno if you guys realise the magic you create wen you guys play together and whether you relaise you will probally never find that again in this lifetime. All the best for your future endevours. In my opinion Mammal were the best Australian band around at the moment. You guys were doing something very original and energetic, which is exactly what the Australian music industry needed. I believe that you had the moment to take the band a really long way, and I'm really disappointed that we wont be able to see that.
