WE ARE THE LOUDEST AND GREATEST BAND IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD. WE ROCK SO HARD THAT SOMETIMES IT KILLS UNICORNS. THE SIZE OF THE ROCK THAT WE MANAGE TO PRODUCE TRANSENDS WHAT THE HUMAN BRAIN AND ANIMAL WORLD CAN MENTALLY TAKE IN. THE CEREBAL CORTEX SHUTS DOWN.
WHEREAS SOME PEOPLE MIGHT SEE THIS AS A PROBLEM. WE, MAMMOTH MAMMOTH SEE IT AS THE ULTIMATE POSITIVE. IT IS WHAT SETS US APART FROM THE WEAK. IT IS WHAT MAKES US TRULY MAMMOTH.
FOR TO BE TRULY MAMMOTH BOTH SONICALLY AND VISUALLY, EACH MEMBER OF THE UNITED FORCE THAT IS MAMMOTH MAMMOTH MUST BE TRULY WILLING TO BLEED. BLEED FROM THE FINGERS, FACE AND GOAT
BAG. WE ARE WILLING TO PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY PUNISH OURSELVES IN ORDER TO BRING OUT THE INNER MAMMOTH.
WE ARE MAMMOTH. FUCKING MAMMOTH. WE WILL DESTROY. WE HAVE IN THE PAST
(666BC) AND WE SHALL DO SO AGAIN IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE.
WHETHER MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA OR THE WORLD IS READY FOR US IS A DIFFERENT
STORY.
FUCK EM. WE ARE MAMMOTH.
BIGGER THAN JESUS. LOUDER THAN HELL!
CHERRY ROCK 09
"Mammoth Mammoth played their hearts out, with their front man tumbling around the stage like an acrobat. Meanwhile, their bassist – who was in a world of his own – only graced us with his presence when taking another sip from his whisky bottle. They played with such force that it left a earth quake in you gut, delivering a pure rock sound and enough strobe lights to send an epileptic into a permanent coma."

FUTURE AUSSIE PUNK CLASSIC
"How can I write a review of this monster without profanity? Profanity is the only way to describe the Mammoth Mammoth sound.
These guys stand among the giants of Australian pub-punk.
A thundering rhythm section, buzzsaw guitars and barking vocals deliver songs that deal directly with the chief concerns of the Australian psyche, most notably, getting drunk.
Fire up the barbie, crack open a tinnie, and get ready to join the backyard moshpit.
Mammoth Mammoth have arrived."

"Mammoth Mammoth - with a name like that the sound should have been louder. Guitar too soft, vocals down too low. Regardless, fuckin awesome! A stripped down balls to the wall rock outfit that know how to do just that. I have never seen a singer that wants to play guitar so much! Air guitar like it was going out of fashion, it would've been complete if a roadie jumped up and fixed his air-amp that kept dropping out.
Really dug Mammoth Mammoth, killer end to a great week, but could it get better? They rocked out Kyuss as a tribute to Skye (Little Bird) as last night was last drinks before the bar shuts in Melbourne. Fairwell and kick arse in PM." http://somethingsweettothrowaway.blogspot.com/

THE RUBYS FIRST BIRTHDAY EXTRAVAGANZA - 3 MORE SLEEPS
One year ago, on a lonely Wednesday evening at a forgettable Collingwood pub, The Rubys played their first gig. Twelve months on, the three scrappy-looking lads have under their belts better songs, more gigs and are infecting Melbourne audiences with catchy, raw, stomp rock n roll pretty much weekly. So to mark the milestone of reaching the ripe old age of one, The Rubys are celebrating with a birthday party! With around 40 gigs down over the previous year and a wildly raucous live set, there has been a lot of jumping around and beer consumed so this Friday at the Old Bar will be no exception. Expect some wild blues-driven sets by The Volatiles and The Bellows to warm things up, and the boy’s favourite two-piece The Cheats bringing it all home. 8:30 start, $8, Party hats provided.
Hope to see you down there and we can all rock out!!
Fuckin Mammoth effort from a mammoth band! Hope you Boys can throw a new lung into the old dog (tobias) after the big night ,surgery on stage can get messy. Wish we were there for that one lads its gonna be huge .
