Hey, you found me. I'd just like to tell you a little bit about myself. Back in the eighties I was a lead singer in a band called "Diasaster Recovery". At the time we were called alternative rock. John Warchol was the writer for the band, a guitarist, and vocalist as well. As time went on we all went our seperate ways. However, Jun (John Warchol) continued writing and playing in bands. We always remained friends. I married and left the scene and now have two teen age girls. I find I have more time on my hands and for some reason I need to vent. The songs that I have written are up on myspace. I hope to have two more songs to add before May 1st, so I can have an ep album completed. The songs that I write start out as opinions and thoughts, and before you know it I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill. ( a little joke) The first song was written on July 2nd 2006. "Is Freedom Free" My husband took our girls out waterskiing and I was making lunch. I sat down with the guitar and started playing. When my husband came back I asked him to listen to the song he could not believe I wrote it, nor could I. "No Where To Turn" was written down the shore in July 2007. The song is about two people who find that they have no where to turn except to each other. I hope this song will touch a alot of hearts. "Hips, Lips & Eyes" was written in october 2007. Inspired by ballroom dancing. This song is fun, fun, fun. My daughter Nikilee helped put an album cover together with all eyes. We may be changing it. I think she did a great job.

" Backup Man”, Written on May 7th 2008. I am dedicating this song to Jay Leslie. Jay is a member of the group The Tokens, best known for their recording of “The Lion Sleeps Tonight”. A master at his trade (arranger - producer) and a wonderful performer. I am honored to know and to have worked so closely with him. He has made some wonderful contributions to the music industry, starting way back when he was fifteen years old backing up the original “Shangri -Las”. You’ll have to listen to the music to fully understand where this man has been. I felt it necessary to give back to someone that has given so much. Jay is not only my friend but a colleague. Thank you Jay for being my number 1 back up man. You have brought my songs to another level. This is a very special song. I would also like to dedicate this song to all of the back up men and women out there in the music world. (And you know who you are!)
“Rosebud” was written on January 27, 2008. This song was written for every woman in the world and for every man to hear. If you listen to the flute in this song you will hear how the flute helps her with her plea. If you listen in the background you can hear the man working…I love this song!
“I Gotta Tell You Why” Is a song inspired by Eckhart Tolle and Oprah Winfrey. In March 2008, “O” broadcasted a world wide event on the web. There were over a million viewers. This event was for “A New Earth”, a book that Eckhart had written. They had a ten week workshop on this wonderful book. After the 3rd webcast. I didn’t know at the time when I wrote down this phrase, that it would become a song and its title, which I wrote in just a few days. I was so enlightened by her web casts, this song came out of that experience. Thank you Eckhart and Oprah..This song is a wonderful reminder to people…That we are “ALIVE“. I enjoy the message of this song and I’d like to share it with the world as well as both of you thanks again.
“The Fight” - What can I say? We have all been there. We fight, we recover. In the end it is better to solve and resolve the differences that we have…No one will win. Someone always gets hurt. This song was written June 9th 2008. Life is a struggle. We fight to survive. I really enjoyed recording this song. I like the background vocals. I hope you do too.
“If I had a Nickel” is about our memories that can take us wherever we want. We go there by ourselves. This is a magical song, inspired by someone that always said, “if I had a nickel”. This song was written during November and December of 2007.
“Time Spent With You” is a song about my cousin Bobby Mack’s new-found “philosophy” of how to avoid death. (Listen to the lyrics carefully to understand what’s meant by this). Death comes and leaves our hearts broken in a way that is sometimes hard to express. However, it is okay to get angry and that is what is stated in this song. I wrote it in January of 2007.
"Nothing More" is a song that was first written in the mid-eighties. Not knowing that I really could write, I never wrote another song after this one...until I wrote "Is Freedom Free". This song "Nothing More" was inspired by a difficult time in my life. I showed and sang this song for Jay Leslie and he thought it would make a beautiful ballad. Jay Leslie put piano to this song and Joe Steinwand played guitar. Listening to the sounds of ones voice, and actually hearing the words of that voice lead me to write this song "Nothing More". I bring you this song as the conclusion to my album.

In an ideal world, the holiday season would be filled with cheerful spirits, random acts of kindness and somebody for everybody to kiss under the mistletoe. Have a great Holiday....
"DEAR EDITOR: I am 8 years old. "Some of my little friends say there is no Santa Claus. "Papa says, 'If you see it in THE SUN it's so.' "Please tell me the truth; is there a Santa Claus?
"VIRGINIA O'HANLON. "115 WEST NINETY-FIFTH STREET."
Yes, VIRGINIA, there is a Santa Claus. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy. Alas! how dreary would be the world if there were no Santa Claus. It would be as dreary as if there were no VIRGINIAS. There would be no childlike faith then, no poetry, no romance to make tolerable this existence. We should have no enjoyment, except in sense and sight. The eternal light with which childhood fills the world would be extinguished.
Merry Christmas to my dearest friends. I hope this season brings all that you've hoped for and all that you wish.
