Mañana are five young musicians from Basel, Switzerland. Their search for an
identity of their own between experiment and pop was seemingly endless – now
they have released their debut album 'Interruptions' (15/8/08). There was never any
doubt that Mañana had bags of raw talent – they proved that by being
included on EA Sports' «FIFA Football» with their song «Miss Evening», for
which they received a nomination for the US «Independent Music Award 2007».
Now this raw diamond has been cut and polished to match the band's own high
expectations. Working closely with British producer Ken Thomas (Sigur Rós,
Dave Gahan, Björk), Mañana have succeeded in painting spectacular and epic
soundscapes that are sure to captivate countless listeners.
