Mana is a legendary Visual Kei guitarist at Malice Mizer, clothes designer, musician and songwriter. Mana is considered as a very mysterious person. Many fans are dying to know real Mana's name or age, but sadly nobody except Mana's friends and relatives know this. Mana never speaks in public (he says he is shy to do that), there are only a few videos where we can hear his voice. Mana always wears a heavy make up, so we don't know what his natural apearance is. Mana hides his private life, but there are several details we know about him. It is known both Mana's parients are music teachers.Mana has a younger sister and a niece that he likes to play with. There are rumours Mana is married a Midi-Nette manager, but there is no proof if it is right.

Mana started his career before more than 15 years when his first wide known band Malice Mizer was founded. Mana was the leader of it, he created a band style, wrote music, played the guitar and keyboard. Malice Mizer was j-pop/rock and Visual Kei band. In 2001 Malice Mizer disbanded. In 2002 Mana began his solo project: Moi Dix Mois was formed on the 19 of March (this day actually is Mana's birthday. Moi dix Mois is a popular symphonic metal/j-rock band in the Europe, Japan and US. They have released three full lenght albums (Dix Infernal, Nocturnal Opera and Dixanadu) and a few singles. Mana-Sama has his own record label Midi:Nette. Mana is interested in classic music, so he uses classical instruments synthesizers, such as harpshicord or church pipes quite often. It is possible Mana doesn't have a musical education. Mana says he tries to create the new unique musical style where elegance and darkness are together: his music "combines electric guitars, infernal drums, spinet, a church organ and dramatic vocals resulting in a truly breathtaking symphony."

It is considered that Mana helped to popularise Gothic Lolita style. He also has a fashion label called "Moi Meme Moitie" that presents EGA and EGL styles. Mana says Moi meme Moitie are not clothes for cosplay, they are more casual clothes than cosplay clothes. EGL means Elegant Gothic Lolita. The real Elegant Gothic Lolita should be 5'4 feet (164 cm) slender with empty seductive eyes, she should like to listen to French gothic and classical music, enjoy going for walks live in a manor and like literature for children. The real EGA (Elegant Gothic Artistocrat) should be slim, 5'8 feets (173 cm) with slit eyes in whose sad pupils insanity sleep.
