Manchester Sing Out Choir draws it's insparation from God and the numerous charecters and various talents within the choir that give the choir it's dynamic edge.
One of Manchester Sing Out Choir's aims is to share their music with a wider audience and help uplift other throught the joy that music brings
Wayne Ellington is founder and director of the Manchester 'Sing Out' choir. The Professional Vocal Trainer and Gospel Choir Master from London formed the choir together with Chantelle Codner (Solo Artist and MSOC Manager) for the Manchester International Festival’s first trailblazer at the Opera House, featuring the 'Gorillaz' where the choir supported the 5 night sell out tour in November 2005.
The choir has a range of commited members who represent a real cross section of cultures from the inner and greater Manchester corridor.
During their current rehearsals at Zion Arts centre, the number of interested people attending has grown. As there are no set criteria for joining the choir, other than having a willingness to learn, a willingness to work with others, a passion for singing and creating music, it is easy to get involved.
The choir welcomes new members from around the North West region of the UK.
The Manchester Sing Out Choir brings a fresh new vibrant flavour to gospel and inspirational music in Manchester.

Team Bruno are DanceX Champions! After seven hard weeks and a nerve-racking final show, Team Bruno have been voted the DanceX Champions!
After a thrilling all-singing, all-dancing final - Bruno was ecstatic to see his team win, while Arlene was clearly devastated for hers.
The Team Bruno contestants - Claire, Marie, Marcquelle, Phoenix and Rana - win a record deal with Gut Records and will go on tour supporting R 'n' B star Rihanna.

Hi Wayne, How are you doing? I saw you guys on TV this weekend on that DanceX show! That’s great!
I am working with some producers in Manchester at the moment and things are going quite well, keep fingers crossed! I will be releasing a few tracks in a couple of months time. I wanted to ask you if you have a picture of the gorillaz choir, preferably one of the concert itself. excellent concert last night guys - my face is still recovering from all the smiling. A great blend of music and voices - they were all excellent but that third track (swahili?) was my favourite....I hope you noted me singing along;)
It is an amazing choir and I'm missing it and all the fantastic people that make it up so much at the moment- will more than likely return to manc in the next year or so and a huge reason for that is this place! Love to all xx
