The Mandala Drum knows where and how hard you hit it no matter how fast or how powerfully you play...with sticks or fingers. It can sound like whatever you want it to because not only does it come with sounds and effects but it is able to connect to your computer and trigger any samples you can get your hands on.
Your product available at the Guitar Center stores? ...and are the pads compatible with the alesis series drum sound modiule (Via: Trigger connection)?

Vince! Things are getting Mad in Mandala land. I'll be needing another 2 more soon as something has seriously clicked in my mind, and so now I know what I need to do with them. And yes I am finally ditching the hardware synth and will be lugging a computer everywhere.
