About me: Hello, I'm Manda Ruth!! Whether you've come by my page by accident or you've linked your way here via another website. I welcome you. Now the reason why this page exhists. Photography is the reason why. To be able to capture a moment in time for all time is a gift. Sometimes a candid moment, sometimes a planned moment. Either way, its a moment that will live forever. Captured in digital or on film. For the most part, in the past, I have taken spontanous photos of inanimate objects. I have taken a few collage photography classes, but mostly I'm self taught. I like a trial and error way of learning. Makes the lessons stick more!! Just recently I became interested in modeling/portrait photography. So I'm going to throw my hat in the ring and try it out.

It just takes practice! I didn't take a class! haha I went to school for something COMPLETELY different, and now it's what I do for money! haha It's crazy. Some people are just really good and some aren't. I am definitely no where near how good I want to be at it, though.
See what I mean? I don't wanna take away from the art of your photos. just enhance them. I just remove blemishes and zits, brighten colors, sharpen edges, and all that jazz. That's what I wanted to do for mine! I just wanted to show you beforehand =]
I was thinking for this shoot we just do regular pictures, to get a feel for it. I would rather do some practice editing of the vintage photos before we shoot like that, so I can get it down pat. I'm still down for the abandoned house though. And I'd still like toedit them and teach you some photoshop tricks. =]
