We are a locally owned and operated radio station that is dedicated to the music. Ask any of us why we're here and we'll tell you it's for the music. And we're not kidding!

There is no corporate hierarchy to whom we answer to. Just us. With more than 60 combined years of radio experience between John, Pamela and Shayne, we are finally in a position to utilize our knowledge of not just radio, but the artists, the music and you, our listeners.

    I just wanted to say that LJT rocked this year and Im pretty sure yall feel the same!! And also thanks for setting up the acoustic satge, it was a success i thought and thanks to yall musicians like myself get a chance to play with other great musicians and it gives us a chance to get our music out there!!

Texas music is more than great music it is also great fans and great disc jockeys and radio stations that Get IT, Appreciate It and in your case Play it. Without Mandatory think of the artist we might not have ever heard of ! Thanks again and keep up the great work.

    Haven't seen you guys in a really long time. Whats up? The Bois D'Arcs are writing new material and doing some shows but my real news is that I started writing and playing again and I have a new CD. Actually it's an EP and one of the songs on it was written by Amos(Roy) and Jerri Lynn Robinson and my producer Earl Musick.

    I'd like to send you a copy if you are interested in listening and possibly playing it. I also have four of the songs on this myspace profile.

    Holler at me when you want to waste a few minutes BS ing.
