M&D Artistic Customizing is locally owned and operated by Dean and Marlene Prowse of Reno, NV. Originally building hot rods out of his garage in his spare time, Dean eventually quit his day job as a time clock punching zombie to pursue his true interests in the hot rod industry. After selling his soul to the devil for some metal working skills and a Miller 220 … M&D Artistic Customizing was born.

Today M&D builds and maintains some of the meanest rides on the West Coast. From off-road to the track to the cruise to the street M&D puts quality and precision into every car that enters our shop. We offer our talent and 38 years of metal working throughout the entire planning phase and work WITH our clients to ensure that the finished product is always what they want.
