Manual Dexerity Spring 2008

The Spring 2008 issue of Manual Dexterity features interviews with Tim Kinsella, The Evening Rig, Polar Bear Club, Haram, Collections of Colonies of Bees, plus an interview with internet cartoonist Mitch Clem.

It wouldn't be a an issue without the popular SIXES feature. This issue's participants are from the music recording/engineering field. Find out which albums engineers Larry Crane, Bruce Templeton, Graeme Gibson, Matt Bayles, Jesse Cannon, Neil Weir, and Jonathan Kreinik think sound the best and their biggest pet peeves during recording.

About Manual Dexterity

Manual Dexterity is a music zine that focuses only on independently released bands and albums. Each issue has in-depth interviews with a few bands, one article, reviews and the popular "Sixes" feature where six subjects of the same field (band, label owner, publicist) gets asked six questions which result in a wide variety of thoughts and opinions.

Copies of Manual Dexterity are available free online and free in stores. In Minneapolis, Manual Dexterity can be found at Extreme Noise and Treehouse Records. If your interested in getting Manual Dexterity in your town, get in touch.

Music zine that has interviews with Mustard Plug, Look Mexico, and Maritime. It also has interviews with six more bands in that quick format where they ask them all the same six questions. The part that I liked was the interview with the old editor of Anti-Matter zine; it took me back a few years. I would guess that most of the people involved with Manual Dexterity, at some point in their lives, have given A New Found Glory, at least, a chance. Whatever that means to you... –Craven Rock, Razorcake 44
