SO...living it for all it's worth, is what I am about! Tomorrow may not be here but today is a given and that is what carries me through life! Sharing a smile is, well.. just me! I never have figured out just why so many haven't caught on to it. I write...and I love it and I hope to meet more of you that understand what it is like to think past the surface of things! I enjoy spending my time doing what is important to me. If it helps someone else to achieve good in their life, than I've spent my time wisely. The "Muse Euterpe"~LOOK IT UP! Music is a part of my life that defines me! Those that create it allure me because they help to bring out those words inside me that match only with a melody… I LOVE to float in the deep waters right along with them. Those that create stories and put a melody to it... I find are the most interesting thinkers of all. We create together and understand each other and I thank them. Those that look deeper than the surface of things strengthen me and help me to grow. My love of music comes from deep within the experiences of my family! I had a Grandfather that played the banjo and my Mother that was always singing anything from old gospel hymns and Hank Williams songs all day long. I think my fondest memory of her singing was when she "yodeled" songs from long ago! I have a sister that plays and sings today with her husband. They travel throughout Indiana-Tennessee-Ohio sharing their love of Gospel Bluegrass. I have a brother and sister in-law that were the entertainment at their restaurant back in the late 70's and let me tell ya... to hear them sing "King Of The Road" was moving! So with my writing, be it lyrics or a story of someone and my love of photography are what I've combined to built the foundation of my deepest love… MUSIC! Capturing it with photography or writing about it are my ways of sharing one of the greatest gifts I can!! .. My experiences getting to travel with JOHNNY COOPER and his band the Spring of 2008 was and will always be great memories imbedded in my memory and my heart. I was given the opportunity to feel what life on the road with a band can be like and as hard as it was.... I loved every waking moment of it because there wasn't many sleeping ones ;) Being allowed to give Johnny's fans a part of my love of photography made it even more rewarding. As Johnny signed my own copy of that photo that was sold and is hanging on hundreds of his fans walls~ "Thanks For Capturing A Great Moment In Time" Those words will ring loud and clear years down the musical road.... when his music makes history as I wrote about. I hope to be there to be able to say, "I was there when he made it known." What a gift he gave me in life. And to get to share that WOW... What an honor! Being able to write a story about the artists that are unknown and share it with others along with capturing them in their element while on stage, proves to me that my love for music is not in vain. But is what makes me complete in life. Without those two things in my life it would be no different than a songwriter trying to write a song without a muse. With that I am thankful to have had them as my MUSE! Just like the band NO JUSTICE... they are a fine example. It's really not hard to love what I do, when I get to work with individuals like this. .. *************************** OK*Now more about the other part of me that very few know! ********************************************************* My Mom really did always say, "Idle hands are the devils handy work!" And my Dad always found a way to hit the road and see the world so between the two of their wonderful qualities they instilled in me, I live the life I want! Married 1/2 my adult life I learned a lot but it's great to have spent my 30's living for me! I'm true to the soul about being country... I'm a country girl down to my pink toes and bare feet. I don't mind getN' dirty but I sure don't like dust on my hands. I'll take mud any day. I love my high heels~ lip gloss and a good man! ;) I love to read and learn new things. One of the best things I've learned is to listen to those that have already... been there/done that! I've had two beautiful mothers in my life that taught me some of the most valuable things a woman can know. I'll cherish those secretes the rest of my life! I absolutely love daisies that grow along the gravel road in the summer. It's not out of the ordinary for me to pull off the road and pick a bunch! They look pretty in a mason jar! .... Sweet Tea, need I say anymore? I love it ;)) I fry chicken in a cast iron skillet because… THAT'S HOW YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO DO IT! And it's perfectly fine and dandy to lick your fingers when you eat fried chicken in my home! A good game of woffleball makes a summer complete and so does going swimming with your clothes on at 3AM! ;))) My dog Buster is the angel that watches over me! Thank goodness! For a little while longer he's 15... I love my beautiful home and my business I created some 18 year ago. ********************************* I love to travel all over but I really appreciate the back roads of America. That's were I've found a lot of what makes me who I am and who I hope to become as I get older. I love to capture on film those things that catch my attention and stop my heart. I love that I am a Great-Great Aunt but I wish I could be closer to my family. I'm the youngest of 12 and have over 30 nieces and nephews that I wish I could say I knew them all by name and could be a part of their lives but our lives are far apart. But they’re always close in thought. **********************************

I have two tattoos, both representing two of my loves... beauty and freedom. One is a heart shaped American flag with a little banner that says Harley Girl that's for my love of a motorcycle that lets you know... what you're sitting on and the freedom that comes with that powerful feeling when you squeeze on that throttle and lift your feet and go! To feel the wind and sun against my face and to know how something as simple as riding down a winding two lane country road can change ones whole day... just by experiencing all the elements that God gives us everyday....Is a great definition of a good life. To collide with the leaves that fall from a beautiful sky on an Autumn ride through Connecticut ... is something not everyone can explain. But I can ;) because I've done it! When people speak of beauty... we think of a woman. I have to admit.. the shine on the chrome... the feel of the heat coming off the paint and leather... the sound of the pipes... and not to forget the UNKNOWN journey that I know comes with every ride... IS BEAUTY ALL BY ITS SELF! There's just something about a Harley, that stirs my insides like no other, an leads me to believe... I was an Unknown Legend of long ago... running half my life~colliding with the very air I breath... I've set my roots but sometimes you have to pull them up and place them again, so they continue to grow...I think they call it "Getting Back To Your Roots" I call it Tending To Lifes Roots" It's not been easy... I don't know if there is a magic kiss out there but the ride in search of it, has sure been one unbelievable story. And as far as I'm concerned, if the only kiss that ever connects to my lips... is the wind... It's been an incredible ride ! The other is of a beautiful dragonfly... I'm not much into butterflies they just don't have the same character if you ask me! If you've ever been on the river and had a dragonfly bless you with its presence you will understand what I mean! It's Peaceful~ very delicate ~beautiful~ radiant ways gives great character of it's fragile body! I love the way it will sit and let you gaze upon its beauty, be it on the top of your head or on your arm or leg. Its fearless ways captivates me to no end! These two things I carefully chose to paint upon my body for good reasons! I'm glad I waited till I was 35 to do it, because I plan on looking at them for a long time! ;) I love the fall for many reasons. I love being on the river gigN' fish and cooking on the riverbank. I appreciate the sunsets in Missouri and the smell of the first fire in the fireplace in the fall! I'm all about making my own jellies and canning my own veggies. LOVE deer meat and wild turkey. So do all those $$$ people...they are so slow to catch on to what's really good! I guess I was a pioneer woman before my time! ********************************* I am a survivor of all things. I am my Mother and my Father! Born to them at ages 40 and 50 I am here for a reason and I learn something everyday about why! Those that come in and out of my life leave something better than a memory. They leave a Memorable Kiss that touches my soul! I would say to anyone out there that has dreams or a plan.... ~ with whatever it is that one starts~ there's never an "easy or quick" way to pave that long road that's ahead of you! I hope this leaves you with a touch of myself and my hearts personality and a life that is like a jar full of fireflies…at one time glowing from behind glass, bright in the night, just waiting to feel “Freedom” once again. It is nice to be able to say, “it sure feels good☺---out here!” *************** I do believe, “You have no clue of where you are going, until you realize just where you have already been!” And, if you realize you don’t like where you have been, then you best take the nearest dirt road you can find. It may be made of dirt, but don’t let that fool you because it just might take you somewhere beautiful. Live the life you have... no one can take away your memories!
