   About Mandophilia

Mandophilia is musical duo Chuck Kaplan and Paul Mirocha. Paul and Chuck have been playing together in one form or another for almost 20 years. Their upcoming eponomous CD of all original instrumental music is a tribute to that musical mind-meld.

Mandophilia's roots are based in Celtic music, a centruies-old, rock-solid tradition. From there it was just a matter of bending most of the rules. Rather than listing influences, it is perhaps easier to list the musical genres that Paul and Chuck ignored. German brass bands, or Billy Ray Cyrus might fit into this category. But then again, maybe not.

Water that has been exposed to Mandophilia's music forms microscopic heart shaped crystals. (just kidding). But it does create alpha brain waves in cats and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

Folks,

Alright, I'll be the first to comment. I saw you guys at the Tucson Folk Festival a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. My friend Mark Holdaway was sitting in and you guys were cooking! Thanks for being my friend.
