Mandy Morton is a talented British singer-songwriter, who achieved some success (mainly in the UK) with the album "Sea of Storms", released in 1980. "The Magic Lady" was Mandy's first solo album, after her mid-'70s career as vocalist for Sprigins of Tolgus, and is generally regarded as the most progressive of her career. Her impressive sound has its roots in the British folk-rock scene (Fairport Convention, Pentangle, etc.), and her mature work contains many singularly dark & progessive arrangements. The CD reissue of "The Magic Lady" is currently available through Comet Records.
This is a fan tribute page dedicated to Mandy Morton and the musicians who have worked with her.
