"There's definitely something you can find to like about her and her music". Mandy Smith, a singer songwriter out of Houston Texas, is currently working on new material for an upcoming album; this will be her fifth and counting, post her work on the Film "Hot Town Cool City" by Maureen McNamara. Her music was featured in this PBS documentary on the Houston Art Scene in which she also enjoyed a cameo appearence. Her 4th album "Texas Star", produced by Rockabilly Super Hero and Husband Phil DeVille of Mustang Lightning, is enjoying alot of playtime on internet radio stations across the Globe. "We've been really lucky and appreciate all of the positive feedback received on our songs" says Mandy. The Group is really excited about their new material and the new album which will be made up of Americana Roots meets Texas Hill Country music which is what thier fans love. The Mandy Smith Group will be making appearences in London, Paris and Rome on an upcoming tour in May. Releasing three Cd's between 2004-2005 including Comin Home, West Texas Sun, and The Mandy Smith Group "We had something to say and and something to prove" and they plan on doing it again.
