.. ..Profile Edited by MPS MySpace Editor 2.0 ..Profile Edited by MPS MySpace Editor 2.0 Take those "Behind the Music" shows, put 'em on steroids, add in a serious "in your face" attitude, mix in night train and cheap whisky along with raunchy kick ass rock-n-roll and you have yourself a crash course to self destruction. That was Manek! Manek became bigger than the music it played or the musicians in the band. Manek became an attitude, a freak show everyone came to watch to see what would happen next. Hell...even the website took on a life of it's own..fighting with other bands...clubs...midgets. It became the sounding pad for both people the band pissed off and people that just loved the band and sometimes just innocent bystanders that accidently entered the world of Manek and had to drop a comment. Manek took it's shot in Hollywood after 8 years of touring from Florida and the entire midwest playing shows in the smallest clubs to some very large venues. The "plastic" atmosphere and financial restraints of the west coast provided the demise of Manek.
