IS THIS THING ON?, my name is James, Im 27 and I am currently doing a degree at Drumtech Music College in London. I am predominantly a drummer (obviously), but I also play guitar, bass, a little piano, and have been known to have a go at singing. Along with those I also produce, scratch, mix, and get a healthly labrat-esque studio tan programming. I have done remixing for a few bands, and also caused a fair bit of trouble by making a glitch cut up of my supposed national anthem. I'm up for working with anyone really, so anyone interested drop me a line. Check out my page for YAQUONT, it's glitchy!
Currently my ambitions are to work with Merz, learn to use Reaktor properly, and actually make a living doing something productive. In honour of the LEGENDARY John Peel, the Vale Earth crew are proud to spotlight an event taking place at the De La Rue dated the 25th October showcasing over 15 DJ's coming together in a pure 'random' fashion. There is no structure, just diversity and unexpected sounds, similar to how the LEGENDARY D.J. would session his evening show that we ALL can relate and reminisce with! Keeping his spirit alive, the event will commence from 8pm also raising awareness for all the great causes the VEF adhere to, so look out for the buckets upon your dance-venture! See you there :)
