I live in my own head a lot. I create these parallel universes and time vortices and love triangles in my head. There's a constant musical soundtrack of a healthy variety in there. I have entire conversations with people in my head before I open my mouth. But yet, I don't filter what comes out of my mouth well, go figure! I love to tell you stories of the tragedies in my life, because it makes it easier for me to make them into stories that are separate entities from myself. I don't keep secrets, not even my own.
I love to mourn life and wallow in my sadness. It's what keeps the creativity flowing. I love to write down my thoughts and feelings and share them publicly in the hopes that someone will one day actually get to know the real me. I like movies that provoke thought and discussion. I love a good scary story, whether it be true or not. Drive me to an old cemetary, gimme a djarum black, and we'll stay up and discuss the meaning of it all.
My favorite movies: Willy Wonka, Cemetary Man, Dark City, Visioneers, Cannibal the Musical, Cry Baby, Kill Bill, Amelie, Pretty in Pink, Labyrinth, Heathers, Ghostbusters, LOTR, Star Wars. Back to The Future, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive, Eraserhead, Blue Velvet, Peewee's Big Adventure, Edward Scissorhands, Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Four Rooms, Raising Arizona, Boxing Helena, Clue, Tank Girl, OCHO: Arachnid From Hell, Beauty & The Beast (1946), and a lot of B-grade horror.
Favorite Books: The Dark Tower series by King, Eyes of the Dragon by King, American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis, Almost Home by Damien Echols, Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold, American Gods by Neil Gaiman, Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis, Space Trilogy by C.S. Lewis, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Phillip K. Dick, The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, and the Encyclopedia of Serial Killers.
I like old tv shows like I Dream of Jeannie, Bewitched, The Munsters, The Addams Family, Tomes & Talismans, etc. Currently I mostly watch stuff like Forensic Files (Cold Case Files and Psychic Detectives), Lost, Heroes, IT Crowd, and I watch the new Doctor Who series religiously.
