    Dear Zoe,
Thank you again for the fabulous music that you and Alfredo and Eusebio performed at the Palladium Vallarta on October 25th. My husband and I really enjoyed the Mango Trio and we were very disappointed that you only performed on the one evening during the week we spent in Punta Mita. Hubby is a musician himself (he plays bass) so he truly appreciated your arrangements as well as your talent and skill. As for me, I don't know much about the technical aspects of music but I certainly found your music irresistible and I was delighted by the range of material you presented. All of you were engaging and charming in your individual playing and singing as well as in the ensemble performance. And you, Zoe, are so pretty, too! Having a beautiful, multi-lingual blonde in the trio must be a big advantage.

We wish you every success in your artistic careers.

    Hi Zoe-
The dust has settled and we have such wonderful memories of Claire and Troy's wedding. So many lives were touched by the magic of both the wedding day and San Pancho. I am so happy and pleased that we were able to experience the energy and talent of Mango Trio. Your timely responses to our questions and concerns before our trip to San Pancho helped to soothe our mind and souls. Then to hear your music in such a beautiful setting, with great food, drinks and friends and family, gave us all the most beautiful memories of a very magical day. Everything about Claire and Troy's day was effortless and filled with joy, happiness and magic. Thanks for being a very special, perfect part of our gift to them.

    Zoe,

We were fortunate enough to hear your trio while at the Palladium Resort last week and I just wanted to thank you again for your wonderful performance. You were the icing on the cake for me during our holiday & I'm sorry you did not do multiple evenings at the Palladium (believe me, no one else got encores). You "guys" are so dedicated and tight, a true pleasure to hear. I bought Creencia and we're all really enjoying it now that we're back in -20°C temperatures. And my son loves the t-shirt I bought for him. Sigh. I so wish I could hide in you back pocket so I could be with you always … but I've got you cd. :D

All the very best to you all, and my sincere wishes for a GREAT Christmas season,

      -Chris Helmers

    Dear Ms. Wood:

I am most please to be able to write a letter of recommendation for Mango Duo/Trio.  Your performance at my daughter’s wedding in San Pancho, Mexico was fantastic.  For various scheduling reasons, we were not able to discuss the musical selections until the last minute, and I found you to be very flexible and experienced.  Your suggestion for the recessional was perfect.  The before and after music was exceptional as well.  It fit perfectly with the occasion, and we received many positive comments on your music from our guests.

Please feel free to use either my wife or me as a reference.  I would be happy to respond to inquiries by either phone or e-mail and pas along my fullest recommendation for your music and performance.

Very truly yours, Dennis H. Elliot

Mango Trio [Alfredo & Zoe with percussionist Jose Luis Uribe] played the accompaniment of our wedding ceremony as well as the reception afterwards - they provided the perfect soundtrack for the best day of my life!

Our ceremony took place on the beach in front of Costa Azul at Sunset and Zoe and Al provided the perfect classical acoustic accompaniment - Just loud enough to be heard over the surf, but very natural in the beautiful setting. It was a perfect fit.
During the ceremony Zoe and Al performed 'Solamente Una Vez' which my best man joined them to sing. It was beautiful and one of the most memorable parts of our entire wedding.

After the ceremony, the band set up as a trio near the pool and started with a great set while the party enjoyed cocktails.
They were incredibly flexible and accommodating, transitioning their sets seamlessly around toasts, cake cutting, etc.

The mood heightened progressively from set to set ending in an all out dance party to their high energy Latin music. It was amazing.
To everyone's surprise one of the bridesmaids even joined the group on stage for two impromptu songs.

Zoe - Thank you so much for providing the perfect music for the perfect wedding day of Josh and Lindsay Fisher.  We are the parents of Josh and we were so thrilled when you performed music that Josh grew up with in our house.  We have your Padre Verde and Creencia CD's and we play them  for friends and family.  They've been enjoyed from Utah to Pennsylvania and everyone has been impressed.

We wish you continued success and are fans of yours for life.

Mango Trio played at my wedding on April 7. My husband nor myself could have asked for better, more beautiful music for our wedding on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. Their music was perfect for the setting, and Zoe and her bandmates read our guests to play music that at times was more relaxing, at other times was funkier, and yet at other times got everyone out on the dance floor! MangoTrio's music is best suited for those who want music that echos of Mexico, but is infused with more familiarity of the States. I highly recommend MangoTrio for an event where one is looking for music that captures the essence of the coast in Mexico; the incredible skill of the musicians, their kindness and the mood the music sets created the most memorable night for Troy and me.
    Thanks you, Zoe!

Alfredo and Zoe, Mexico Winners of 2009 Just Plain Folks Music Awards, Best Latin Jazz Album, Creencia, and Best Latin Jazz Song, Las Creencias de Charlie _______________________________________________________________________ The Just Plain Folks Music Awards We're excited to announce the 2009 Just Plain Folks Music Award winners and nominees. (Click the button below to see who made it). Congratulations to all the nominees and winners — and a special thank you to our volunteers who worked to screen the 42K albums and 560K songs submitted in the largest music awards of any kind in world history! Award Winners The Just Plain Folks Music Awards were started in 1999 as a simple way to recognize the best music submitted by members. JPF Founder Brian Austin Whitney felt the music made by the "other 98%" of the music world often ignored by the mainstream televised music awards shows deserved its own recognition. The judging criteria is based around one basic concept: Does the music move you? This one encompassing criteria has since been adopted across much of the mainstream music industry to measure the very best quality of the best music being made today. Once again, we start our quest to find the music that moves us most and recognize it with admiration, fairness and dignity (and a cool JPF Awards trophy). ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Alfredo & Zoe are a dedicated pair of musicians living and performing in the Bay of Banderas / Nayarit State areas of Mexico.
