Influences
afrocuban and brasilian roots, contemporary grooves
The Mango Molas band established in 1998 by four percussion players influenced by the rythms of western Africa. In following years the sound of the band changed - knowing new musical forms and styles, adding harmony to the rythmical roots. Now it's an eight-man band playing musical fusion of afrocuban and brasilian music tradition with influence of jazz, slavic melodic feeling, as well as funk or hip hop.
