ManhattanCactus is a live electronic music project that was born after the meeting of two musicians whose background are very different from one another :
As they were both motivated at the same moment by creating and leading a project of live electronic music, they decided to get united in order to make a good combination of experimentation and efficiency on the dancefloor.
They both bring up a lot from their experiences, their visions and their approach of machines so they can create a brilliant and aleatory musical performance.
Their performance is based on improvisation on machines, there is no pre-defined structure, only the present state of mind count and every live is different from the preceding one. ManhattanCactus est un projet électronique live, issu de la rencontre entre deux musiciens aux profils très différents :
Sebastien : Programmation/Djing et batterie (Dot, Salsheevers)
Animés au même moment du désir de mener à bien un projet vivant de musique électronique, ils décident de s'allier pour tracer une voie alliant expérimentations et efficacité dance-floor.
Ils apportent l'un et l'autre leurs expériences, leur visions et leur approche des machines pour créer une composition musicale aléatoire et jubilatoire.
Leur performance est basée sur l'improvisation avec les machines, aucun structure n'est définie, seul l'état d'esprit du moment compte et chaque live est différent du précédent.
