From 1993-1997, "MANHOLE" rocked many parties, studios, clubs, venues and festivals all over the world. Over the years we were together we shared stages, played shows and toured with many bands... .. .. SNOT, HUMAN WASTE PROJECT, DOWNSET, STS, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, FEAR FACTORY, TYPE-O-NEGATIVE, LIFE OF AGONY, BIOHAZARD, DOG EAT DOG, SUICIDAL TENDANCIES, KORN,SYSTEM OF A DOWN, POTHOLE, SPADE GHETTO DESTRUCTION, BACKLASH, DIMESTORE HOODS, LIT, X, SUGARTOOTH, SUCTION, SPINESHANK, DCT, GHOULSPOON, HED PE, DEFTONES, MIND HEAVY MUSTARD, BUFFMUFFIN, INCUBUS, ELECTRIC HELLFIRE CLUB, HFL, BITCH FUNKY SEX MACHINE, BORAX, L7, SWTICHBLADE SYMPHANY and DRAIN STH to name a few. .. .. "MANHOLE" released our first 7 inch recording of the song which became like an anthem for us...."VICTIM" on LETHAL RECORDS in 1995 and soon we were asked to appear on a NOISE RECORDS complilation cd which ultimately lead to our being signed to the label directly. We released our first official full length album "ALL IS NOT WELL" in 1996 which was produced by ROSS ROBINSON and recorded at INDIGO RANCH STUDIOS in MALIBU, CALIFORNIA. This page was created to CELEBRATE the 10th ANNIVERSARY of THIS RECORD. .. .. .. .. .. After many months on the road touring our new album, we were forced to change our name because of a band from Texas with the same moniker. So "MANHOLE" soon became known as "TURA SATANA". We were also forced to RE-release our first album "ALL IS NOT WELL" under our new name because of legal reasons. Our cover was changed to a photo taken by PAUL HARRIES of KERRANG MAGAZINE (who had began shooting the band for our album covers, artwork, press shots and magazines on a regular basis and would continue to do so for many years to follow) and new LIVE TRACKS were added to the album to make it special and give it something extra. .. .. .. .. .. After many tours, it was time to record our second "official" album. .. .. .. .. .. Although we were still the same band, things began to change and the tension within the band became more apparent as we wrote and recorded "RELIEF THROUGH RELEASE" which we co-produced with MICHEAL VAIL BLUM. .. .. .. .. .. We made it through the studio recordings and filmed our second video for the song "LUNA"... .. .. .......... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. But as the story goes....it seemed that the title of the new album soon became the theme of the band and soon after it's release, MARCELO, RICO and I parted ways with SCOTT and welcomed new guitarist BRIAN HARRAH into the family and began touring once again and that was the end for the band formerly known as MANHOLE as TURA SATANA took on a life of it's own and would live on to become known in it's own right in the years to follow. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..
