I have lot of heroes but non of them very in importance to me since they've all contributed to who I am. My heroes are those who have made a difference in the world and in my life, those who inspire, and those who stand up for what is universally just, writers, poets, activists, freedom fighters, artists, actors, those who promote peace and normal everyday people. The heroes that stand out in my mind at the moment that have changed my outlook on things are Black Jack Johnson, Sammy Davis Jr., MLK, Che Guevara, Zapata, Marcos, Jackie Robinson, Lincoln, Siddhartha Gautama, Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, and Noam Chomsky to name a few. I also have a lot of personal heroes like my mom and a brother I will always look up to, and than there's those who have been generous enough to let me get to know them and who know the real me, like my best friends Steve, and the woman who taught a dumb unenlightened kid the meaning of the words love, caring, compassion, honesty, and respect, Andrea, the girl I adamantly call "Poptart" and "Kiddo"(Thanks for always being real w/ me) oh and Ladainian Tomlinson is a God amongst men, John Mayer is the most personally elightening musician I've ever heard, Qwel is the sickest most edifying emcee to ever bless a mic period, Hendrix and Tom Morello are equal in my book when it comes to wielding the electric axe, and Huey Freeman is the only revolutionary figure alive in our current times in my opinion, sad to say, nuff said. We probably would try to go there every weekend. Don't have much time on weekends these days since I am finally getting decent hours and sales. All that extra cash is going to bills though...
