Mani Khaira is a Vancouver BC singer-songwriter. His music bridges the gap between modern introspective pop and dance floor filling rave up. This is keyboard oriented pop for those who love a good tune. Ever wondered what piano-pop masters Elton John and Billy Joel would sound like if they were writing music as young men today? That might be just what Mani Khaira is doing with his music. But it’s Mani you really hear because Mani Khaira brings an emotional energy to his sound that always makes it personal. Mani is a rising star in the local music scene, and between opening for Grammy Award winner John Mayer in Western Canada, and touring North America, France and the UK, it’s clear it won’t be long before Mani’s singular brand of fun yet profound pop will make converts everywhere. Mani has just finished a full length album. Produced by Yohann Francois, the album displays Mani Khaira’s passionate songs and powerful voice, surrounded by lush instrumentation and as always, his exuberantly infectious keyboard playing.
