Hi, My real name is Graeme Canty, I took the name Man In Black becuase it suits me as I where black most of the time. Although I do Johnny Cash numbers, it has no real reference or connection to him. I just like it.
I'm an aspiring Tribute Artist, I started out with Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash numbers, but decided that they werent quite doing the business for me. So have recently spread my wings to cover the whole scope of music, mostly rock n roll music.
My first album contained soley Elvis Presely, but the second will contain songs from all the decades, including Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison, Robbie Williams and Justin Timberlake.
The songs you here on this page are not neccessarily the finished article. A polished and finalised version will of course appear on the album. Although I do this mostly for fun I do like to take it a little seriously, and I am learning all the time.
"BUT THIS IDIOT CANT F***ING SING!!!" you may say, well I cant afford to take lessons, and never took a lesson in my life, so I am being very brave in showing my stuff to the public like this, my vocals are improving all the time from pushing myself and self teaching, I let others tell me what they think. So with help and support from fans and friends, I will continue to get better and better.
