Twas a rainy, storming Saturday morning when Chris Masi came to Chris Maute and Mike Kernicky with his idea for a revolution.
A funk and soul revolution.
He had the tunes. He had the name. He had the temerity to bring it up in conversation.
When it became evident that a goulash of funk could be summoned using the mighty powers of these three musicians, lightning struck and plans solidified for the usurping of lame music everywhere. And then serendipity struck: they were able to harness the mighty power of Matt Kabbel to help man the helm of groove, thus completing and fulfilling the prophecy.
