MANLORD is what ya get when ya take 4 guys, from 3 of Moncton's well known "stoner" bands, let them dumb shit down to mind numbing simplicity, and then let them beat any chosen riff into oblivion! Formed by Jody Perry(Blood Royal), Chris Lewis(Iron Giant)(both formerly of Mood Cadillac), Shaun Crawford (Gallactus/Iron Giant), and Errol Girvan(also from Blood Royal, as well as numerous art fag bands!!!)as an outlet for their need to make some fuckin' noise when their "real" bands aren't too active! There will be no re-inventing of the wheel goin' on with MANLORD! MANLORD will just be heavy as fuck!
Although the first few tunes are just bein' finished up by this newly formed unit, the plan is to record a really lo-fi E.P. as soon as the smoke clears, but some pretty cool jam session recordings have been posted to leave a taste of MANLORD in yer mouth(mmmm....sweaty!)! A few shows will soon be in the worx to allow others to get lost in the sludge with us...if nothin' else, it'll just be a ball rumblin' good time for the 4 of us!

I survived my moncton weekend, yet again. You guys always deliver i must say. The Giand was deadly as was Gallactus the following evening. horns up for heavy doobie and blood royal as well. I'm still married, she knew what she was getting into when she decided to, kinda. the lil girl in heavy doobie kinda freaked her out, but aside from that all is well on the home front. the manlord shit is deadly and in bathroom rotation at the moment. i hope to get back up ur way in november if there are some shows booked. time will tell.
