About me:
The Mannequin Reject Emporium was formerly known as the Egyptian Emporium at the Jewett City Flea Market. While we were selling in the flea market from December 2007-May 2008, the economic downturn forced us to primarily shift focus to our online shops.
About Us:
We run the Mannequin Reject Emporium, found at Etsy, Artfire, and Ebay. We're also a sickeningly cute married couple, but we try to tone the sap down in public.
Megan is, first and foremost, an artist during her spare time. She used to consider herself a writer, but she also loves photography and sometimes feels like painting. She also likes to create short videos for youtube...most of which don't make sense. She considers herself a zinester, even though she's only made one zine and is hopeful that maybe, one day in the future, she'll make another one. Meanwhile she's having fun being domesticated and cooking, but she also works part time as a rural carrier associate for USPS.
Ramy grew up in Egypt and bought a bunch of stuff before coming to the states to marry Megan. While he holds a degree in pharmaceutical sciences and is a licensed pharmacist (in Egypt), he needs to save money to become a pharmacist again in the US. He has a multitude of talents and is now a licensed bartender and can be hired as a bartender for most social events.
