Back in the Days of April 2005, Three eager beavers set about building a dam. On that very same day Three people named Callum, Ste and Fast Steady Eddie (of who's name we are aware is slightly oxymoronic) in the North of England set about forming a band. This band would be more influential than Nicole Ritchie, and sexier than Lionel Ritchie. This band was only really in the 'ideas' stage when a new member was collected: Dom. Music was then played and ridiculous lyrics written until they were what they are today. After minutes of debate a name came out of the mixer, They were to be called Mannequin Republic.

Recently formed around April time 05 experimental prog rockers Mannequin Republic are a young and exciting band to watch out for influenced by bands varying from Mars Volta , Focus , The Specials, Yes, Radiohead, The Clash and At The Drive In . Mannequin Republic are succeeding in their quest to provide an interesting alternative to the mediocre rubbish that is mainstream music today.
