Bio - Mannequins are a three piece from Dagenham, East London. Formed from a chance conversation in summer 2007 they draw on 60's Motown and Northern Soul, Late 70's punk, and Classic Rock n Roll. After forming for their own amusement, word of mouth soon spread after their first few gigs and they began drawing large crowds locally. After outgrowing the local pubs, promoters and venues in some of London's most famous venues soon found the band they had booked to "bring 30 people" were selling these places out. The lads' working class upbringing, their style and general integrity marks them as 21st Century Mods. Mannequins are Lee Bonnington, Chris Stevens and Brendan Ivie. Keep The Faith.

Mannequin (alternately, manikin, mannikin, manakin, dummy or lay figure). The word comes from the Dutch word manneken, literally meaning 'little man'. Mannequin is the French form. Hahaha, Dutch people rock - I should know, i am one! anyway, you still sound like all that and a packet of crisps! =]
