Manny Moscow is currently committed to Heavy Handed Recordings an independent record out of London. As an artist he is open-minded and versatile enough to write and work with various genres, although the term ‘Hip-Hop lyricist’ probably describe him the best. Hailing from South-West London and in his twenties, Manny Moscow has experience under his belt and has been making music ever since he can remember, collaborating with various singers, producers, live musicians and indeed other Hip-Hop acts and rappers. Under his old alias of PQ / Pique, he even got to work with the puppeteer of Zippy from the famous children’s TV show Rainbow, on his video for ‘Came To Do This’! This video was aired on MTV Europe and was well received.
Manny Moscow has performed at various open mic events and live showcases, the well-respected Urban Music Seminar, and even The Lambeth Country Show! His live show is energetic and full of passion, and many say his live show is something of an experience within itself. As well as rocking stages and live shows, Manny Moscow has also received support from a string of the UK’s leading urban music radio stations and has music played on BBC 1Xtra, Kiss FM, Choice FM, Galaxy FM, HHBRadio.Com, Ramjam Radio, Pyro Radio and many more, as well as featured on a string of underground mixtape releases here in the UK and overseas.
In October 2008 Manny Moscow decided it was time to unleash his first project, a superb three track EP entitled ‘The Piece Exkursion’. This would be the official birth of Manny Moscow and would be a release that got him attention in both the media and on the airwaves, as well as seeing him feature on some of the biggest UK mixtape releases such as ‘100% Exclusive’ and ‘Flying The Flag’. In April Manny Moscow then hooked up with one of the UK’s leading mixtape DJ’s, Tricksta from UK Runnings, to unleash his debut full-length release ‘Live From The Kremlin’. This would be the first in a string of FREE download mixtapes from Moscow. In June 2009 he hooked up with LATE from Wolftown Recordings to host ‘Underground Exposure Volume 7’ where he gave up three more banging exclusives, as well as featuring on more mixtapes from UK Runnings, DJ Drama and DJ Ames.
Now in July 2009 he is set to release his second full-length mixtape with one of Germany’s leading DJ’s, Berlin’s DJ Easy. ‘From London To Berlin’ is a twenty-one track mixtape that is already causing a stir in the UK and Europe. In August 2009 he plans to drop his third mixtape ‘No Games’ with the UK mixtape messiah DJ Ames. Also being worked on is a new mixtape with UK Runnings called ‘The Boy With The Lost Flow’ which will feature half tracks and half freestyles. With this work ethic and focus it’s no wonder that Manny Moscow is creating a buzz. The future looks bright for Manny Moscow as he intends to work on a debut album for release in 2010.
