Los fanáticos de los cantantes Funky y Manny Montes a quienes se les considera los “cangri” del rap y reggaetón cristiano a nivel local e internacional finalmente sabrán quien realmente es ‘El número uno”’ durante la celebración del concierto “Cara a Cara”

Ante las cientos de críticas y discusiones que ha ocasionado el tema “El número uno” donde ambos exponentes del género utilizaron el recurso de la “tiraera” los artistas decidieron ponerle fin las especulaciones de su rivalidad y destapar la realidad en un espectáculo masivo.

De hecho, Funky reconoció que raíz de este sencillo las reacciones han sido tan diversas que todavía no sale de su asombro sobre el impacto que sus canciones tienen en la gente. Según Funky aunque en el pasado había trabajado mucho junto a Manny Montes “la razón de su distanciamiento es que llega un momento en que la carrera de las personas crece y los compromisos de cada cual y las agendas no permiten trabajar en conjunto con todos los artistas que realmente deseas. De igual modo, influye la llegada de talentos nuevos en busca de recursos y líderes del género que los apoyen y les den la mano como lo hacemos ambos un factor que también ha imposibilitado tener tiempo para unirnos en una producción como la gente desea”.
