About me:
You see I love the Lord, and if loving the Lord is wrong, I don't want to be right! Can't take credit for that line, it's the preacher on "Coming to America". He also reminds us that God brought Gilligan off the Island... I love meeting with people because I learn something new from everybody. I hope they can say the same about me... Jesus teaches me that the most important thing I can do is to love God and love people, regardless of their ethnicity, politics, beliefs, orientation, wealth or poverty (Mark 12:30). The world would be so different if we followed this teaching, but I'm still trying to get it down myself. Religion doesn't get this, it gets stuck in politics and institutions. True love is inspired spiritually. I'm far from being perfect or holy, but I'm just learning from God's Spirit that in the short time I have in this world, my purpose is to love. This quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson inspires me: "Do not follow where the path may lead; Proceed in faith where there is no path, and leave a trail for others to follow."
