Pretty much all of my friends here are going, except for my roommate and me because he and I are trying to think logically instead of emotionally and out of desperation. ha I mean, it's GREAT that some ppl have the money to go, but a lot of ppl are finding stuff to sell, getting new credit cards, etc just to go. I already have enough debt to last me a few YEARS, so I'm not tryin' to go backwards. At this point, I'd rather pay off my credit cards than go see Michael Jackson. It's that serious. lol
I even missed a Prince concert here in LA that was at a club. Coulda seen the sweat roll down his face. Actually, one of my friends that went got spat on by him by accident. lmao Anyway...tough times, man!
I did get an internship (non paid of course) at a studio in Hollywood. It's a huge studio called Westlake. It's where Michael recorded Thriller (parts) and Bad. Jagged Little Pill was recorded there...bunch of big albums. www. thelakestudios. com
I also got an offer at Chalice Recording Studios in Hollywood, but I would have to be an intern for at LEAST 7-8 months and I can't afford to go that long without pay. At Westlake, it's about 3 months for the internship and you can make your own hours. I need a part time paid job, so that's what I went with.
Other than that, things have been fine. Life would be perfect if it weren't for the debt...which is stressing me out.
Anyway, if you go to London, let me know when you plan on going and how it is. :)

He came out in socks and ugly brown slippers. I told him, jokingly, "Hey, Michael, I love your slippers." He laughed and got embarrased and pulled his feet in and said, "Noooo, they're horrible!!!" lol He laughed at us a lot. It was adorable! All the kids came out and they were being silly. :) Can tell u more later if u want, but...
I just thought I would let you know! Wish you had been there!! :)
