MANTRA arose from the ashes of Brackish, Clubber Lang, Clone and Swamp Gas one year ago, bringing together some of the most talented and seasoned
musicians in the area. Now taking Southwest Florida by storm, the members
of MANTRA continue their mission to alleviate the boredom threatening the
downfall of the local music scene, by delivering an incredible mix of the
heavy and the melodic for a very listenable experience. With original
songwriting, an interesting blend of musical styles, and a flair for the
unexpected, MANTRA are poised on the brink of the future.
The definition of mantra is a sacred chant or words to live by. MANTRA's
words to live by are felt in every aspect of their music, from the unrelenting
guitars to the evocative vocal hooks to the haunting synth keys. The
unspoken words therein ring true: Do it, or die trying.
