Italian singer-songwriter Manuela Mogavero started her career in her twenties, appearing as half of a duo on a television show. She later moved to England where she started working with covers bands in pubs and function gigs, including a Latin American band in which she performed in Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. She has also performed in various venues like The London Palladium and The Spitz, and in 1995 released the single Believe on the independent label High Risk. Manuela trained a the London College of Music & Media, Goldsmiths College and London Community Music, where she was part of a Gospel choir, and is currently working as a singing teacher for a music organization in South East London. She has also been leading singing and songwriting workshops across the capital.More recently she has written, performed and recorded with guitarist and collaborator Keith Buckman.
Her lyrics are a reflection of her life and if you read through the methaphores you will find and underlying message and a little part of yourself .
Manuela 's influences are a blend of different genre: from rock to soul, and from folk to gopel. India irie, lizzie wright,Alanys Morrissette ,Rochford and Seal, are amongst her favourite artists.
