Man with the Axeman started back in August of 2006, when three lads wanted to form a band, so in the bottom of a burger king, the name was made and we formed, Robert Hatton Chris Whitfield and Joe Garner. The three practised and realised they needed an extra bit of a kick so the lads brought in friend Simeon Lewis on Lead Guitar and Vocals, and then Man with the Axeman started. We played many gigs over our time; fromthe dirty pubs in Warrington to supporting the Bluetones and even going on tour in Germany, round early 2008 Dan Taylor joined to play percussion(our Bez). But Sadly in the end due to tension between Robert Hatton and Chris Whitfield over certain things became too much, culminating in a big fall out at Leeds 08, the band tried to go on but couldnt function without the original line up and we died. But dont worry wereall mates again.
We have put a new song up for you, it’s only a rough demo which hasn’t really been mixed well and hasn’t been produced but it will give you a taster of what may come next in our next recording sessions which we are trying to set before Christmas.
Enjoy! It’s called 'Stop'. Please tell us what you think.

Hi guys just dropping you a msg to let you know what we do. Sugar House Music is primarily a production label working on band demos through to record label releases. We are also currently signing acts to production/management/artist referral deals to help further bands we feel of potential, by working on every aspect of the band, from songwriting, production, recording and passing the act onto our list of industry contacts.
As an offshoot of this, we also have a record label to release bands we like that we haven't produced a recording for.
Just a reminder... This is the last week to buy tickets for Fly Warrington for December 17th, so make sure you either contact us directly or via messaging with your money (£5)... and also, the gig is no longer @ WA1, it’s now at “The Venue”, next to “Friar Court”, where “FX” used to be... Cheers Signal Flare
