Many Miles Music is a non-traditional, artist-owned New Age Instrumental Music joint venture and record label.
Featuring the music of guitarists from around the globe, we differ from traditional record labels in that we share a full seventy percent of the revenue from each record with the artists, who also retain the rights to their recordings. Artists front their own recording and touring expenses.
We select soothing and relaxing instrumental guitar recordings chosen for their ability to calm the listener and provide an emotional connection. We offer very high quality 320 kbps MP3 recordings. We also leverage technology to offer our customers the best buying experience possible. For example, CD buyers also get a download immediately.
Much of the music in our catalog was produced by Will Ackerman, the Grammy® award-winning founder of Windham Hill Records, and recorded at his studio in Vermont. Ackerman's own "Last Day At The Beach" appears on our Woodsongs guitar compilation.
We're building a destination for New Age Acoustic Music. Today there are many places to buy music, but there aren't many filters for quality or suitability. We want to be a place, in the New Age category, where some of the work is already done for you.
