Maps and Atlases offer songs that wrestle themselves from flailing, algebraic fits of spazzy guitar notes and drum ruptures to lulling, voice-driven melodies that speak stories using lyrical images strung together like soup cans chasing a Cadillac. Maps and Atlases create a distinctive blend of the intricate and organic.
wow...flick through my ipod uninspired and inevitably listen to those two ep's all the time..I really never get tired of them. Australia wouldn't say no to having you guys
Hey guys thanks for doin such a great show in pittsbugh.
I really appreciated gettin to talk to you guys after the show. It's cool to know that such great musicians can also be such genuinely nice people. All the best!
Al's Bar was the happening place Tuesday night. Even though it was insanely hot, everyone was feeling the mood. Thanks for performing and giving an amazingly rad show. It is greatly appreciated! You guys fucking rock.
Thanks for the add. As soon as I heard Trees, Swallows, Houses, I had to pick up a guitar and learn this thrashy tapping stuff. It's fairly obvious your influence and I thank you for it.
You guys are seriously the nicest band ive ever met. Oh and that alternate version of artichokes is fucking amazing, the ending is intense, cant wait for the full length
