About me:
This off the cuff comedic short was produced by Trigger Pictures LLC in conjuction with KP2 Productions and Letter B Films. Initially conceived by director Kestrin Pantera, the idea she had of three women running a marathon launched into a collaboritive effort between Pantera and Susannah Mills that led to the creation of "Marathoners". Susannah Mills and Kestrin Pantera co-wrote and produced the short film that further explores the lives of three unique and peculiar women who train for the "Run For Scurvy Marathon" under the guidance of an odd and closeted trainer and his childlike assistant.
The three trainees include Emy Coligado ("Malcom in the Middle", "Crossing Jordan"), Sarah Carter ("Shark", the new CBS drama with James Woods, and the films "DOA", "Final Destination 2" and "Skinwalkers"), and Kestrin Pantera ("Expired", produced by Don Roos and starring Samantha Morton). Rick Gradone ("Frenchie The Clown", "The Pink House) plays the unqualified trainer with his assistant in tow, Melissa Keller ("Entourage", "South Beach", and the newly released "Drop Dead Sexy" with Jason Lee and Crispin Glover). Additionally Diva Zappa ("Pledge This", "Elizabethtown", "CSI NY", among many) cameos in a supporting role.
