The very beginning of the story took place in spring 2003, when drummer Mirko and bass player Daniel met in a lonely night, in front of some beers, in Mortara, thanks to a friend of them. Soon they discovered that they had the same will to make heavy music, a genre so far away from the musical background and tastes spread over that area (where only follow pop, disco and folk music are performed). Their common intent was to form a band to play stuff in the footsteps of Stratovarius, Sonata Arctica and Symphony X. Soon Omar, that had played with Daniel in a gothic band some years before, entered the band as guitar player, Jacopo as a keyboars palyer, and as last, Annalisa bagun the vocalist.
They started their live career at the Ep Metal Fest in Mortara (Pv), thanks to the support of Entrateparallele.it that created the event. Then after Paolo took part to some summer shows he entered as lead guitarist to complete the band.
In the heart of winter 2005 Marble started the recording session of their first demo, called "Trails of Dreams and Reality", that synthetizes their idea of melodic heavy metal.
After lots of Shows in North of Italy Supporting well know act like Bejelit, Drakkar and also Elvenking, at the end of summer 2006, Marble decided to take a break.
Annalisa, Mirko and Jacopo decided to leave the band, but the will to go on doesn't fade, so Omar Paul and Daniel start reharsing the new members.
The First one to enter the Marble 'family' was Gianluca Bassignani, former member of death metal band Zona D'Ombra, with his furious and full of technic drumming, was the right drummer that Daniel Omar and Paul was searching of.
The problem with the vocals was solved when they find Jack Cherubini, member of power metal band Winteropera. His great voice was immediately put on the new songs they were writing. The next problem with the keabords was simply solved without using any keaboard, in order to make the sound more aggressive. So in a couple of month, all the ideas of the five members were recorded at Daniel's studio. Then Marble entered, in february 2007, first the Number One studio to record the drums track, then the Old Ones Studio to record the first album "A.t.G.o.d." with Giulio Capone (Bejelit, Betoken) as a producer.
La band nasce in un paese nella provincia di Pavia nell’ inverno 2002 e si stabilizza facendo cover e affiatando i membri fino all’inverno 2005 quando iniziano le registrazioni del primo demo della band “Trails of Dreams and Reality” ben recensito sulla stampa locale. Dopo l’uscita del loro primo lavoro, I Marble pianificano una serie di live nel nord Italia come supporting act di band come Bejeit e Steadfast ed entrano nel bill del secondo Ep Metal Fest, dove suonano insieme alla nota heavy metal band Drakkar, tornata sulle scene, ai Bejelit e ai ben noti Elvenking.
Dopo un break estivo c’è spazio per alcuni live sempre nel nord Italia, ma qualcosa in seno alla band stava cambiando: dopo lunghe discussioni avviene lo split con alcuni membri. I restanti membri Daniel, Omar e Paolo iniziano senza sosta a fare provini per completare la lineup, senza però il bisogno di cercare di nuovo un tastierista visto il mood molto più pesante e aggressivo che stanno prendendo le nuove produzioni, molto distante dal conetto standard di power metal (etichetta spesso usata per descrivere il vecchio sound della band). Dopo alcuni provini, la band trova in Giacomo “Jack” Cherubini il singer giusto e in Gianluca Bassignani, proveniente da una death metal band, il drummer in grado di portare i Marble ad un livello superiore. L’ampia estensione di Jack e il furioso drumming di Gianluca convincono subito dalla prima prova. Il quintetto inizia subito registrare una pre-produzione del nuovo materiale e il risultato va oltre le loro aspettative. Vengono prenotati i Number One studio, per le registrazioni della batteria e gli Old Ones Studio, insieme al produttore Giulio Capone (membro e produttore di Bejelit, Drakkar e Betoken a altro), per gli altri strumenti, mixing e mastering, pronti a registrare il primo full lenght della band al meglio! L’album A.t.G.o.d. viene poi siglato da Warner chappell che si occupa dell’edizione mentre la band firma un contratto con Y Records per la distribuzione dell’album sia su cd che on line su I-Tunes e vari portali di download.
Nel contempo intraprendono alcune date live per rodare la nuova formazione, supportando sempre Bejelit, e band come Trick Or Treat, AlltheNiko oltre a serate soliste proponendo oltre ai brani che compongono A.t.G.o.d anche cover dei classici dell’heavy.
