I have been helping makind since 1961. I was sent from The Planet M to save the Earth from MEDIORCRITY. I crash landed in Flushing Meadow Park and was rescued and raised as an ordinary human by an Italian family in Brooklyn, NY. To show their appreciation for this, the people of The M Planet, gave Earth a gift. To the Humans it is known as The Unisphere (AKA the UniMarble) and is at the site of my crash landing, which was also the sight of the 1964 World's Fair. The world's fair event was a clever rouse to hide any evidence of Earth's first extra-terrestrial contact. When asked I lead a scooter ride to the Unimarble during New York Scooter Rallies to represent my Scooter Club The Hornets. When I am not saving the Earth from the EVILS of MEDIOCRITY and COMPLANCENCY, I am a Musician & An Artist. I make my living doing the latter.

- Marbles Mahoney plays Drums & Guitar in Strange But Surf. He also writes and sings. Their major Influences are The Ventures and The Shadows. They play a variety of Surf Rock, Blues and Rock & Roll in their own Strange But Surf Style. Marbles formed Strange But Surf in 2004 with fellow Strange But Surf Guitarist Barry on the Boardwalk at Long Beach on Long Island. Barry is also a long time member of Marbles' Scooter Club, The Hornets. Strange But Surf has played all the major clubs in the NYC, Long Island Area, including Mulcahy's the largest Music Hall on Long Island. The appear regularly at Otto's Shrunken Head in NYC and many other Long Island clubs and events. Their show sometimes feature Art Exhibits of posters for their shows, submitted by artists worldwide. Marbles Illustrations and posters are often used to promote these events. Marbles also designs and maintains all of the band's web sites including the award winning strangebutsurf.com. The site features original 3d animated Flash powered graphics. Along with his original songs that he writes and performs, Marbles keeps Strange But Surf on the cutting edge.

Since 1999 Marbles Mahoney has been bringing Long Island Scooter Lovers together for rides and friendship. marbles bought his first Motor Scooter in 1998. This 50cc Italian Scooter kept the thriving NYC Scooter scene was too far away from Marbles, so he decided to form his own club. The club started online as a Yahoo Group and grew to over 200 members. The club became well known thru Marbles' tireless efforts at bringing the world of Scootering to Long Island. The club was profiled in Scoot Magazine and their annual rally to Montauk has also been featured in articles written by Marbles himself. Marbles is an accomplished writer and has written for Scoot Magazine and the Vespa Club of America's Magazine, The American Scooterist. Marbles' original 3d rendered Comic Strip called "Buzz Scooterboy" was published in t he pages of Scoot Magazine from 2001-2002. The club has also been featured in Scootering magazine after riding its reporters around throughout a massive NYC Scooter Rally called Gotham. Marbles is on the planning committee for many Scooter Rallies and sponsors a ride from Manhattan to the Worlds Fair Unisphere (aka The UniMarble) in Flushing Meadow Park, Queens NY. The International Surf Music Foundation was founded in 2005 by Marbles Mahoney. It is an online forum to encourage Surf Musicians around the world to work together and promote their music on an International basis. Members are able to get airplay on the Foundations' daily live365 radio show "The ISMF Hour". The forum also allows Bands to advertise their shows and exploits as well as their various online projects. In 2007, the ISMF announced a call for it's members to submit songs for it's first compilation album. An album of original surf music featuring songs from diffent countries.The International Surf Music Foundation also sponsors an Exhibit of Surf Music and Art that features posters submitted by Graphic Artists all around the world. The foundation also sponsors an annual party called "Twangstock" at its HQ in Levittown, NY.

Marbles Mahoney founded the first club for MINI Cooper lovers on Long Island. Founded in 2004 before he even owned a MINI Cooper! The club quickly grew at an alarming rate and merged with several other clubs in the NY/New England area. Marbles soon turned over the club to its members and without Marbles unique guidance the club soon became a haven for Advertisers and Dealers. Seeing the need for an independent voice for MINI Cooper lovers, Marbles formed a new club for MINI Cooper owners on My Space. The club no longer limits itself to the Long Island area and has over 200 members. Marbles owns a rare Gold & Black 2004 MINI Cooper that he bought while it was still on the boat from Europe known as "24K".
Rancho De Angelo | Owner & Head Cowpoke Levittown Ranch

Marbles Mahoney bought Rancho De Angelo in 2003. The impressive compound features lush gardens and a quiet country atmosphere. The house serves as Marbles' "Fortress of Solitude" for him and his friends, known as "The Rancho Gang". It provides an escape from their day to day activities.The compound located in Levittown and is an organization of neighboring Ranchers. All kinds of professionals combine their talents as needed to make up this diverse family of friends They combine their talents to help each other thru this thing called life. A year round weekly BBQ's feature Marbles legendary cooking as well as the skills of other members of the gang. The Ranch features a fully equipped studio for Marble's band Strange But Surf to practice their unique sound. The summertime rehearsal attracts friends and neighbors and is the the highlight of everyone's weekend. Every year Marbles throws a party called TWANGSTOCK that features Surf bands and more!
