Well ! What d'ya wanna know ?!? My name is Marc (Marky to my pals). I'm 34 years young & live in the quaint old town of Newbury. My passions in life mainly consist of music & footy & not much else really. I come from a very talented family of singers, very much like the Von Trapps (!), & we all have our own unique styles. My first love is my family - Kate & daughter Niamh (Noodles). I love you both dearly - thanks for being just the way you are - I couldn't manage without you -x-x-x- I'm still working hard for my big break but in the meantime I scour the web and the pages of Stage magazine looking for local/national singing competitions to sing in. May of last year (06) saw me placed 5th in the 'South Coast Idol' comp out of 5000 auditionees & recently I have just come 4th in the Chicago 'Rock Idol' competition. This year I'm at it again, and am heading once again for the Portsmouth Guildhall to take part in the National Final of 'Live & Unsigned South Coast Idol 2007'. This time making it down to the final 18 from 10,000 entrants, I'm proud of this feat in itself so anything else is just a bonus for me. I figure if I stick with it I'll come 1st one day ! My middle brother Jamie is still hard at work on his music career. Check out the link on 'my friends' for access to his MySpace page. If you check the vids out on my page, here you will see his last video: 'More Than Enough'. Anyone remember 'Tabloid Queen' from 2003?? That's on here as well so check it out ! Jamie is a talented singer/songwriter & an inspiration to me & I long to follow in his footsteps one day. Anyone know any good contacts ?!? :o) Danny, my youngest bro' now works with my old fella in the Karaoke/Disco business (which is where I started out about 10 years ago) & has quickly gained admiration for his 'voice of an angel'. (Hells Angel ??). Stick with it Dan, big things could happen. My other passion as already mentioned is footy. A lifelong Spurs fan & player/manager of my local Sunday league team 'NewThatch'. Its like a 2nd job but I do it because I love it. I'm a draughtsman by trade & earn a buck or two 'drawing things' as people commonly describe it. I have many good mates but only a handful of true friends. You know who you are fella's :o) Well ..... that's it ! If you wanna get in touch, feel free and blog me/mail me/send a comment.
