    Flutist Marc Adler has devoted most of his time and energy to developing his musical skills in the area of jazz improvisation and composition. He has received Jazz Performance Fellowships from the PA Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts and holds a Bachelor in Music and Music Education degree from the University of the Arts and a Masters in Music degree from Temple University. Marc has a popular book of etudes published through Hal Leonard and duets available from ScoreVivo. His recordings are available from CD Baby and feature original compositions performed by some of the finest jazz musicians on the scene today. He is always striving for excellence and continues to be involved in creative musical projects. The artwork for Labyrinth and Flute Improv/Autumn Smiles was done by Marlene D'Orazio Adler. Flutist Marc Adler has devoted most of his time and energy to developing his musical skills in the area of jazz improvisation and composition. He has received Jazz Performance Fellowships from the PA Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts and holds a Bachelor in Music and Music Education degree from the University of the Arts and a Masters in Music degree from Temple University. In addition to jazz performance and composition he conducts and directs a flute choir composed of professional and semi-professional flutists - The PA Flute Choir. He is a featured writer for Flute Talk and has written a popular book of etudes published through Hal Leonard. His recordings are available from CD Baby and feature original compositions performed by some of the finest jazz musicians on the scene today. He also is a featured contributor to and maintains a web page for Larry’s Improv Page.com where flutists of all types can view videos and download educational materials and where a free transcription of his solo in Autumn Smiles is available for downloading. Marc also enjoys listening to a wide variety of musical styles and disciplines and has a partial collection of "cousins" to the European style flute - the Ney, Kaval, Ditizi, Native American flute, Bansauri, etc. The artwork for Labyrinth and Flute Improv/Autumn Smiles was done by Marlene D'Orazio Adler.
