Born into a musical family in Springfield Massachusetts, MARC BALLINI has always been a musician... and a very HARD WORKING musician at that! Ever since he could reach the keys on the piano as a kid, he has been playing and composing/writing music. Along the way, Ballini has acquired an extensive musical influential background that has helped shape his unique sound. With music already in his blood, and from listening to and learning from such acts from Stevie Wonder to Pearl Jam, Jimi Hendrix to Steely Dan, Ray Charles to Bob Dylan, Marc has honed in on his own writing style and has since created a unique sound of his own. He has always been a very focused player/performer and is constantly striving for the next level within his music. Ballini is known around the music scene for blending such genres as R&B, Soul, Pop, Acoustic Rock, Blues, Hip-Hop and Folk and doing it very tastefully with style and ease.
In his busy schedule of performing around the area, Marc has opened for many National acts from the Legendary B.B. King to Sister Hazel to Josh Gracin and many more. His songs are quickly spreading around the country and his music is gathering new listeners from all walks of Earth. Marc's soothing, yet powerful and soulful voice has the ability to turn heads and surely capture your attention.
Ballini is also known for putting a unique twist and adding a new flavor on many classic songs he chooses to cover.
People describe MARC BALLINI as an amazing talent and a refreshing rarity in the unsigned music scene. His shows can range from groovin' upbeat and down right funky, to captivatingly smooth and soothingly mellow. Ballini can make one guy sound like a full band... and more importantly he does it very well.
GO SEE A SHOW ;)
