About Marc dé Hugar

Bio? oh la la I have Bio.. er I hate writing about myself, I doubt many people like it. Ok well I started playing guitar when I was 10 or 11 admittedly badly, my dream was then to learn how to play at the top of the neck like my then hero's Jimmy Page, Ace Frehley etc. I mostly taught myself by hanging out with my mum's muso friends and as I grew up in Bellingen with a lot of blues, bluegrass and rock musicians mostly burnt out from the Sydney scene I'd pester them to show me a lick or a riff that would keep me busy for a few weeks. I moved to Melbourne started my first band at 15 then soon moved to Sydney where I met up with many musicians and started The Candy Harlots and we enjoyed moderate success played and toured extensively then after several years started my own band Strip Poker, joined The Screaming Tribesmen and had many other bands till present day. My Last band being Dragonfly.
