CHECK IT OUT:
This is a video of a rehearsal I did with some great players/friends in L.a. a few weeks ago. In short:
on drums: the legendary James Gadson-played on Marvin Gaye's classic "What's Goin' On" and Bill Withers', "Use Me Up"
Bass: Reggie McBride; he reminds me of a cross between Motown's James Jamerson and Chuck Rainey who has played ..s of Aretha Franklin records.
Keyboards: a guy I've worked with several times, Luke Miller. Luke plays around the l.a. area with such notables as Larry Carlton [guitarist] and Paulie Cerra, saxophone.
Guitar: Semmi who is currently touring with Natalie Cole and rumor has it, Macy Gray.
This is shades of sounds to come from me:
Please Note: GIGS IN THE LA AREA!! CHECK UPCOMING SHOWS!!
PLEASE NOTE AGAIN: I'VE UPLOADED SOME NEW SONGS HERE which are stripped down and bare. I'm currently working on going into the studio and putting them down, including the song above, "don't look down". Enjoy....xo

Btw, I hope your flu is gone for good. ;-) Cos mine decided not to go away from me... aaahhh... ;-)))
My New Book: Butterfly Tai Chi: Health, Energy and Tranquility in 10 Minutes a Day
Description
The author was inspired by observing butterflies to develop a system of Tai Chi that could be performed in a limited space and within a relatively short time. He designed Tai Chi movements that naturally enhance the Qi flow in the order directed by Chinese medicine and whilst it can be used to treat a wide variety of illnesses, its real power is in preventing illness. Succinct and effective the reader can learn this form of Tai Chi within a day and can be performed anywhere -no matter how little space available.
About the Author
Martin Faulks has been a student of the oriental martial arts since he was five years old. He has a black belt in the Korean martial art, Kuk Sool Won and is proficient in the mystical disciplines of China including Tai Chi, Meditation, Qi Gong and the legendary form of Yi Jin Jing.
